CIO Magazine announced their annual CIO 100 award winners and Intel is one of the recipients!! Intel was recognized for our Security Business Intelligence (SBI) platform that was developed by our IT organization. This custom analytics solution enables our security team to filter and distill specific event logs from over 6 billion events recorded daily. This solution is helping to improve compliance, better protect high-risk assets and provide a faster, more intelligent response to advanced persistent threats.
This is a great story because it also showcases the use of Big Data and business intelligence to improve efficiency and reduce risk. This award is one more example of the industry recognition that Intel IT routinely receives for bringing business value to Intel through our unique and innovative approach to Information Technology. We should all be proud of this effort and kudos to the many employees that made this happen!
